Fees & Insurance Rates
$130 per session
An initial phone consultation is encouraged and free of charge.
I will make every effort to ensure that services are affordable. If insurance is not available, a discounted fee will be considered.
I am an in-network provider for many insurance companies: Premera, Regence, Aetna, First Choice, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, GEHA. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee assistance program. The coverage for our work will depend on your particular policy, not the insurance company itself. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
What does my plan pay for out patient mental health services?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
What is my per session co-pay?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Clients MUST contact their insurance provider to confirm benefit, eligibility and coverage information before their first visit. Regardless of insurance coverage, the client is responsible for all session fees incurred.
Phone and Video Conferencing Sessions
A growing number of insurance companies and health plans are paying for counseling services provided at a distance. When services are covered by insurance, the out-of-pocket cost to clients can be as low as one’s normal co-pay.
To determine if your specific insurance plan will reimburse for online therapy services, simply call the number of the back of your insurance card. If your plan covers online care, I’ll be happy to get authorization for services, accept your benefits, and schedule your first session right away.
That said, I know using insurance can be a hassle and that services are not always covered. I’ve set my self-pay prices at a level that using insurance benefits might not be necessary for many.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and have not notified me at least one day in advance, you will be required to pay half the full fee of the session.
